M.A.S.K Live Action Movie

MASK MovieDo you remember MASK (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand)? It was a science-fiction animated TV series produced by DIC Enterprise in the 1980s. And a toy line was created by HASBRO. Well, following the success of the GI Joe movie, Hasbro is now also considering a live action MASK movie.

For those who don't remember, MASK was a kind of hybrid between G.I. Joe and The Transformers. It featured a special task force, led by Matt Trakker, with transforming vehicles engaged in an ongoing battle against the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. (an acronym for the Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), with an emphasis on super-powered helmets called masks worn by the characters on the show. Here's the opening of the original MASK TV series:

M.A.S.K.

This brings back childhood memories. I used to watch the show and even had a couple of toys from the toyline by Hasbro. So I'm definitely glad to hear about this potential movie adaptation! I just hope the project will get the budget it deserves! If they do it right the movie MASK could be a huge blockbuster.

Any idea about who could play as MASK crusader Matt Trakker? Leonardo DiCaprio maybe? Or Bradley Cooper? What about Matthew Fox?
